Telegram has introduced another major update that improves the work with video files and expands the search for stickers. Pavel Durov, the founder of the platform, announced the innovations in his Telegram channel.
New video features
One of the key improvements was the introduction of video covers, which allow you to select previews before sending them. Also, the platform now automatically remembers where the user stopped when viewing, and the new timestamp feature allows you to share links to specific video fragments.
Search for stickers using AI
Telegram has also implemented search for custom stickers with support for artificial intelligence. Now users can find the desired stickers by description in 29 languages, which greatly simplifies the search process and makes using chats even more convenient.
This is the third major update of the messenger in 2024, and, according to Durov, the team continues to work on creating its own video platform.
