An international forum on "Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Europe-cooperation for common development" will be held in the capital of Uzbekistan from August 18 to 20 this year. The event will become an important platform for discussing the prospects of interstate dialogue and joint initiatives in the field of sustainable development, trade, transport and energy.
The forum is organized with the participation of the International Center for Dialogue, which is actively working at the junction of Europe and Asia. Representatives of the highest state and business circles of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and the European Union countries are expected to participate in the meeting. The discussion will focus on the prospects for expanding regional cooperation in the economic, investment and cultural spheres, as well as current challenges related to ensuring sustainable growth and stability in the region.
The forum will focus on transport connectivity, green energy, and digital transformation. In the context of rapid changes in the global landscape, Central Asia and the South Caucasus are becoming important links in the emerging architecture of intercontinental cooperation. Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, in turn, play a key role in creating transport and logistics corridors connecting East and West.
The forum participants will also consider initiatives to develop human capital, knowledge-intensive industries and strengthen mutual understanding between regions. It is expected that the event will result in the adoption of proposals aimed at strengthening the interregional dialogue and creating favorable conditions for business cooperation between the two countries.
The Forum in Tashkent continues a series of significant international events that emphasize the growing role of Uzbekistan as an active participant in global processes and an open platform for constructive dialogue.
