Uzbekistan continues to implement the Strategy for the Development of Artificial Intelligence technologies, approved by the Presidential Decree of October 14, 2024. One of the practical steps in this direction was a training seminar on AI for representatives of public administration bodies, organized in Navoi region.
The initiative was implemented by the Ministry of Digital Technologies with the support of the regional khokimiyat and the Ustudi IT Academy. The event was attended by more than 60 employees from district and city khokimiyats, as well as representatives of subordinate enterprises and organizations. The seminar was attended by industry experts from various departments of the republic, who provided a high professional level of training.
The training program focused on the practical application of artificial intelligence in the activities of state and economic bodies. Participants were shown how to use AI to improve document flow efficiency, optimize resource allocation, automate routine processes, and make decisions based on big data analysis.
Special attention was paid to the management of temporary and financial resources, which is especially important in the context of digital transformation of the public sector. Students got access to real-world cases of using AI in public administration and passed workshops on working with algorithms, automated systems, and digital tools.
The seminar ended with an active question-and-answer discussion, during which participants identified current challenges and the potential for implementing AI in their daily practice.
The development of digital competencies among civil servants is becoming part of a broader agenda for creating a "smart state", where transparency, efficiency and analytical manageability are key values. Uzbekistan strives to create a public sector that can not only adapt to digital challenges, but also act as a driver of technological progress.
