The Red Apple Festival, Russia's largest advertising platform, is entering its 35th season with a major update of the international jury. In 2025, the team includes more than 90 specialists from Germany, Switzerland, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil, India, Turkey, the United States and other countries, including representatives from Asia, Europe and Latin America. This scale highlights the festival's growing influence on the international advertising agenda.
A special value is attached to the composition of the jury by the fact that the jury members are current leaders of the creative industry with a total portfolio of 375 Cannes Lions awards. This is not just a confirmation of their professionalism, but also a guarantee of a deep understanding of global trends, innovative approaches and the ability to soberly evaluate both ideas and their implementation.
The festival traditionally evaluates projects in four categories: Creative, Marketing, Media and Young Creators. Each direction is supervised by experts who have established their own authority in the global industry.
Creative as an industry challenge
Juan Pablo Alvarez, Creative Director of WILD FI (Chile), Head of the Creative block, emphasizes that the key task is to highlight non — standard ideas that challenge tradition and raise the bar for quality in the industry. According to him, the festival is not only a competition, but also a form of dialogue between markets, where real inspiration is born.
Marketing: accuracy of problems — accuracy of solutions
Uma Rudd Chia, Creative Director and co-founder of KVUR Singapore, focuses on strategic thinking: project evaluation begins with a problem statement, and without a clearly formulated task, there is no strong marketing. It is important not only for creativity, but also for the provable effectiveness of solutions.
Media: not taste, but impact
In the Media block, Alessandro Sabini from Italy, founder of the Very Food agency, became the chairman. He notes the importance of rejecting subjective preferences and focusing on the power of the idea and the quality of execution. In his opinion, media decisions should be evaluated in terms of their impact on the audience and their ability to move the industry forward.
Young Creators: The platform of the future
For young professionals, participation in Red Apple is not just a competition, but a springboard to professional growth. The head of the unit, Nigerian Creative Director Keyode Olou of ONEWILDCARD, emphasizes the importance of constructive feedback from established leaders and the opportunity to show yourself on the international stage.
A strong international jury and a focus on high-quality, not just bright ideas, make Red Apple a platform not only for evaluating, but also for setting new industry standards.
