Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov visited the Ferghana branch of a company operating in the field of exporting IT services. During the visit, he got acquainted with the current activities of the center, infrastructure, working conditions and human resources, as well as discussed plans for further expansion.
The company's branch is located in the center of Ferghana in a modern office building designed for 150 jobs. Currently, more than 120 young professionals are employed here, provided with competitive working conditions. The main activity is providing IT services and customer service in international markets. According to the management, by the end of 2025, it is planned to increase the number of employees to 150 people.
The Minister highly appreciated the potential of the center and suggested concrete measures for its further development. Among the recommendations — active involvement of new projects, strengthening cooperation with international customers, improving the level of professional training of employees, as well as expanding the site in order to create additional high-paying jobs in the region.
Special attention was paid to the issues of sustainable development of regional IT infrastructure, creating conditions for youth employment and involving graduates of specialized universities in export-oriented projects. According to the Minister, the Ferghana region has a high human potential, and companies investing in intellectual capital gain a stable competitive advantage.
The visit to Ferghana was part of a broader strategy of the Ministry of Digital Technologies aimed at supporting IT companies, developing the export potential of the industry and creating conditions for the uniform growth of the digital economy in the country's regions.
