Academic Lyceum at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy has signed a memorandum of cooperation with one of the leading private educational networks in Malaysia — Pine Hills International Schools. The signing of the agreement was an important step towards integrating international educational standards into the educational system of Uzbekistan.
As part of the agreements reached, the parties intend to introduce elements of the international Cambridge educational program into the educational process, establish an exchange of experience between teachers, and launch joint distance learning programs. Special attention will be paid to the development and implementation of academic exchange mechanisms for both students and teachers.
In addition, the proposal to organize a visit of a delegation of high school students from Malaysia to Uzbekistan in the next academic year was supported. The trip will be accompanied by Pine Hills management and educators as part of an expanded international exchange program.
Pine Hills International Schools has been operating since 2001 and is an accredited Cambridge educational institution. The network includes five branches, which train more than 6 thousand students. A special place in its activities is occupied by inclusive education: schools actively develop teaching methods for children with special educational needs, helping them successfully adapt to the usual academic environment.
The parties also agreed to organize a series of scientific seminars and webinars dedicated to modern teaching methods and innovative pedagogical practices. It is expected that these initiatives will form the basis for developing common approaches to the transformation of school education and will allow to deepen academic interaction between the two countries.
