The President of Uzbekistan has approved a comprehensive plan for digitalization of key public services in the field of finance and social protection. The signed decree provides for the introduction of digital technologies in the activities of the Treasury and the pension system with an emphasis on automation, a personalized approach and proactive public service.
The project provides for the gradual creation of compact service offices with integrated digital infrastructure in the regions. Services will be fully converted to electronic form, including the possibility of remote interaction, automatic calculation of payments and storage of information about work experience.
Starting in July 2026, the Digital Treasury system will be launched in the country, aimed at increasing the transparency and efficiency of budget flow management. The key components will be unified electronic registers, automated execution of financial obligations and digital monitoring of operations.
Since December of the same year, the modernization of the pension system starts. The digital platform on which the "My Pension"service will be implemented will become the basis of the transformation. It will allow citizens to calculate future pension payments in real time, based on official data on earnings and seniority recorded in a single database.
These measures are aimed at increasing confidence in the social protection system, reducing the bureaucratic burden and preventing errors in calculating pensions. Technological transformation will ensure continuity and accessibility of services for all categories of citizens, including remote and low-mobility groups.
Earlier in 2025, the basic amount of pension payments was increased in the country: for age-up to 918 thousand soums, for disability-up to 1.01 million soums. These steps reflect the general course of social modernization and adaptation of the population protection system to the conditions of the digital economy.
