President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, speaking at an event dedicated to the Youth Day, named one of the key factors explaining the growth of trust on the part of international partners and the increase in foreign investment. According to him, it is the achievements and intellectual potential of the younger generation that form a new reputation of Uzbekistan in the global investment space.
Mirziyoyev emphasized that foreign states and multinational corporations invest heavily in the country's economy not only in the expectation of macroeconomic stability or institutional reforms, but also based on the assessment of human capital. Scientific achievements, technological initiatives, and achievements in education, art, culture, and sports have become important indicators of the dynamics of change.
According to the head of state, the modern youth of Uzbekistan demonstrates competitiveness in the international arena, forming the image of the country as a reliable partner with a high level of ambition and professionalism. Energy, determination and the level of training of the new generation are becoming factors that directly affect the interest of strategic investors and specialized funds.
In recent years, the volume of foreign direct investment in Uzbekistan has shown steady growth. Priority investment areas are energy, infrastructure, digital economy, agriculture and industry. Along with improving the business climate, active integration of young people in the processes of economic and technological development plays a significant role in raising funds.
The President stressed that the steady growth of the economy and the opening up of new opportunities in various industries were made possible largely due to the contribution of young professionals, entrepreneurs, engineers and developers. According to Mirziyoyev, they form the image of a new economy-focused on innovation, export potential and global cooperation.
