Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov visited the Karamai Cloud Computing Industrial Park located in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region during an official visit to China. This visit was part of the program to get acquainted with modern digital solutions and innovative projects implemented in one of the key centers of the digital economy in China.
Karamay Cloud Computing Industrial Park is a large-scale technology platform where leading Chinese companies specializing in the development and application of big data technologies, cloud services, artificial intelligence and analytics are concentrated. The park plays an important role in the digital transformation of the industrial and public sectors, as well as in the development of regional infrastructure.
During the visit, the minister got acquainted with the production processes, the architecture of technological solutions and elements of the digital ecosystem of the park. Special attention was paid to the integration of cloud technologies into government and commercial processes, ensuring cybersecurity and managing large amounts of data.
During the meeting, examples of successful cooperation between Chinese technology companies and government agencies were discussed, as well as the possibility of applying such experience in Uzbekistan. The parties exchanged views on the prospects for implementing joint projects in the field of digitalization, including the construction of data centers, platforms for data storage and processing, as well as the introduction of innovative services for the population and business.
Following the visit, it is planned to deepen cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in the field of digital technologies in order to accelerate the development of the national digital infrastructure and introduce advanced technological solutions in key sectors of the economy.
