Oppo is preparing to launch the Find X9 Pro smartphone, which will be the first device with a periscope module based on the Samsung HP5 sensor with a resolution of 200 megapixels. Information about this was shared by a well-known industry insider Digital Chat Station.
The Samsung HP5 sensor is manufactured using a 28-nm process technology and has an optical format of 1/1. 56 inches. As part of the main camera Oppo Find X9 Pro is also expected to have two additional modules-both 50 megapixels: with a wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses.
According to preliminary information, Oppo Find X9 Pro will debut in September. The smartphone will be equipped with an OLED display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches, a resolution of 1.5 K and a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz. The hardware platform of the device is based on the yet-to-be-announced single-chip Dimensity 9500 system.
The new Oppo flagship is set to compete with the Huawei Pura80 Ultra and other top-end camera phones, strengthening the company's position in the premium segment of the mobile photography market.
