On June 17, 2025, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloyev held a meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Israel to Uzbekistan Gideon Lustig.
During the talks, the sides discussed the current state of Uzbek-Israeli relations and priority areas for their further strengthening. The discussion touched upon issues of political dialogue, economic cooperation, as well as cooperation in the field of science, technology and agriculture. Special attention was paid to coordination of actions within the UN and other international organizations.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on regional issues. The key topic of discussion was efforts to support a peaceful settlement of the situation in the Middle East.
