According to the Statistics Committee, in the period from January to April 2025, 29,134 new enterprises and organizations were created in the republic (excluding farms and dehkan farms). This is an increase of 5.2% compared to the same period in 2024.
The largest number of new enterprises was registered in Tashkent — 6,363. Among the leading regions are also Tashkent Region (2,743), Ferghana region (2,558), Khorezm Region (2,464) and Samarkand region (2,202).
In other regions, the indicators were distributed as follows::
- Kashkadarya region — 1,858,
- Bukhara region — 1,810,
- Surkhandarya region — 1,720,
- Andijan region — 1,512,
- Namangan region — 1,387,
- Republic of Karakalpakstan — 1,370,
- Jizzakh region — 1,303,
- Navoi region — 1,160,
- Syrdarya region — 684.
The publication of the data reflects the positive dynamics in the development of entrepreneurship and the activity of the country's business sector in early 2025.
