Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 364 of June 14, 2025 approved a set of measures aimed at developing a network of specialized schools in the field of information technology in the Agency's system of specialized educational institutions. The document was adopted as a follow-up to the provisions of Presidential Decree No. UP-55 of April 1, 2024.
According to the decree, branches of the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi specialized school, which is a basic educational institution in the field of IT, will be created on the basis of 13 specialized boarding schools. If necessary, the Cabinet of Ministers has the right to increase the number of such schools. The construction of branches is planned in 2025 with the participation of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan and regional khokimiyats with the approval of the Agency. New schools will be built according to the same standards that correspond to the conditions of a basic school.
The appointment of heads of basic schools and branches is carried out by the Director of the Agency of Specialized Educational Institutions. Managerial personnel are selected according to a two-stage system (selection and interview), pedagogical personnel - according to a three-stage system (selection, testing and interview).
The document stipulates that the number of students in one class should not exceed 24 people. Selection to branches is carried out according to the rules established for the basic school. Students are provided with free medical care, organized on the basis of outsourcing in accordance with the established procedure.
The resolution was published in the National Database of Legislation in the state language and entered into force on June 16, 2025.
