Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held talks with Vice-President of the Asian Development Bank Bhargav Dasgupt. The meeting was devoted to analyzing the results of the 30-year partnership and developing further areas of cooperation with the ADB.
The main focus was on key areas of cooperation, including projects on the transition to a "green" economy, supporting private sector development, strengthening human capital and modernizing financial markets. Among the priorities identified are also the issues of improving financial instruments and promoting sustainable development.
The parties considered joint initiatives planned for 2025, including the expansion of non-sovereign financing, the development of public-private partnership mechanisms, the creation of ecological industrial zones, the launch of innovative production facilities, and measures to support the country's export potential.
A separate block of negotiations was devoted to the implementation of a joint program to support small businesses, aimed at creating a favorable business environment and stimulating employment.
Following the meeting, the participants confirmed their readiness to further deepen the partnership and support market-based approaches in the implementation of joint projects.
