Tesla has announced updates to the Model S and Model X electric vehicles produced for the US market. At the same time, the company raised the price of all trim levels of these models by $ 5,000. The information was published in the official account of Tesla in the social network X and on the corporate website.
After the price increase, the Model S is priced at $ 84,990 in the basic version with all-wheel drive. The flagship version of the Plaid is estimated at $ 99,990. The Model X is now available as standard for $ 89,990, while the top — end Plaid version is available for $ 104,990.
The company did not disclose details about what updates were implemented in the design or software of the cars. At the same time, Tesla is known for the practice of regularly implementing hardware and software improvements without significant external changes and without conducting separate presentations.
