The Ministry of Digital Technologies has received a delegation from one of the largest international consulting companies, McKinsey & Company, on an official visit. During the meeting, key areas of digital transformation, the investment climate in the field of ICT and the potential of international partnership were discussed.
McKinsey representatives were provided with an overview of the current level of digitalization, the development of ICT infrastructure and the functioning of e-government systems. Attention was paid to priorities in the digital development strategy, as well as opportunities for integrating global consulting experience into the implementation of national technology initiatives.
During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of the UZINFOCOM center. Technological solutions in the field of information systems, data processing centers and digital platforms developed within the framework of the state digitalization strategy were demonstrated.
The key event of the visit was a meeting between McKinsey & Company Senior Partner Yermolai Solzhenitsyn and Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov. The discussion covered the implementation of innovative solutions, the role of consulting support in modernizing the digital sector, as well as the formats of possible long-term cooperation between Uzbekistan and McKinsey.
The delegation highly appreciated the progress in digital transformation and stressed its readiness for in-depth cooperation. Transparency of processes and a steady course towards technological development, which creates favorable conditions for attracting international partners and investments, were noted.
