As part of the IV Tashkent International Investment Forum, a panel session on "Digitalization of public services: improving management efficiency"was held. The discussion will focus on modernizing public services using digital technologies, improving the quality of interaction with citizens, optimizing budget expenditures and introducing international experience in management.
The session was moderated by Nazim Turdumambetov, General Director of Forpost Eurasia. The discussion was attended by First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Olimjon Umarov, Director of Public Sector Experience Exchange at the UAE Cabinet of Ministers Manal bin Salem, Founder and CEO of Nobel Systems Michael Samuel, and VISA Vice President for Central Asia Sanjar Suleymanov.
Speakers presented analytical reviews on global trends in digital public administration, emphasized the importance of a sustainable digital infrastructure, and focused on personal data protection issues. Special attention was paid to financial instruments and opportunities for digital integration within the framework of public-private partnership.
Participants were particularly interested in initiatives implemented within the framework of strategic cooperation with the UAE, the practice of Nobel Systems in digitalization of water infrastructure, and the potential of VISA to integrate payment solutions into government platforms.
As a result of the discussion, key guidelines for further improvement of digital public services were formulated. These include strengthening interagency collaboration, standardizing services, developing smart governance infrastructure, and making digital solutions more accessible to citizens and businesses.
