The novelty is a database without installed keycaps and switches, aimed at enthusiasts who want to independently configure the device in accordance with their preferences.
The model is actually a modification of the popular keyboard BlackWidow V4 75%, without preset keys. At the same time, it retains the key technological features of the series, including branded lighting Chroma RGB and support for high-frequency HyperPolling technology with a polling frequency of up to 8000 Hz.
BlackWidow V4 75% Barebones It is compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches, making it a versatile platform for customization. Internal execution includes:
- factory lubricated stabilizers to improve smoothness and reduce noise,
- double layer damping material,
- extra adhesive tape to dampen high-frequency sounds when pressed.
These solutions are aimed at improving tactile sensations and acoustic comfort.
The black version of the BlackWidow V4 Barebones will go on sale for $140, while the white version will cost $150. Both options are cheaper than fully assembled models, which cost up to $200. The variant in the company's Phantom Green color scheme in this configuration has not yet been presented.
