Within the framework of the 64th International Flower Festival in Namangan, the Namangan-Tech Summit forum was held, bringing together representatives of the technology industry, the startup community and digital education. The event became an important platform for discussing the prospects of the IT sector in the region and promoting innovative initiatives.
The forum featured presentations of successful startups, demonstrations of solutions from industry specialists, programmers, export-oriented companies and residents of educational IT platforms. Current challenges and opportunities of digitalization, export potential and development of technological entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan were discussed.
Special attention of the participants was drawn to the “IT-JOBS” job fair, which was attended by more than 10 organizations, including large IT companies engaged in export, and educational residents. Applicants, including many university students and graduates, had the opportunity to get acquainted with more than 100 vacancies and communicate directly with potential employers.
In the second part of the forum, the startup competition “Ideathon-2025 " was held, organized in cooperation with Namangan IT Park and the Digital Education Development Center. 20 projects were selected from 32 submitted teams and presented their ideas to an expert jury. The three best teams were awarded valuable prizes, thank-you letters and vouchers for free training on the Coursera platform.
The Namangan-Tech Summit was another confirmation of the growing role of the region in the digital transformation of Uzbekistan and efforts to support young talents and entrepreneurial initiatives in the field of high technologies.
