Volkswagen has officially unveiled the global version of the 2025 Tayron crossover, which was previously sold exclusively in China. The world debut starts in Australia, where sales will begin in September this year.
The updated Tayron 2025 will be available in five - and seven-seat interior configurations, targeting both urban users and family drivers. The novelty received a redesigned exterior with a dynamic silhouette, as well as an improved interior using premium materials and a wide range of digital technologies.
The basic configuration of the 110 TSI Life is equipped with a 148-horsepower engine, a DSG robotic transmission and is capable of towing a trailer weighing up to 1.8 tons. A more powerful version of the 150 TSI Life with 201 hp, 4Motion all-wheel drive and a five-seat interior offers a trunk capacity of 885 liters — one of the best indicators in the class.
The flagship version of the 195 TSI R-Line is equipped with a turbocharged engine with a capacity of 261 hp, which accelerates the car to 100 km / h in just 6.1 seconds. Among the distinctive features — 20-inch wheels, advanced multimedia system, as well as a premium audio system.
The introduction of the Tayron to the global market reflects Volkswagen's desire to strengthen its position in the segment of versatile crossovers with a high level of comfort and performance. It is expected that the model will go on sale in other key markets during 2025.
