The Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov announced the signing of a new presidential decree providing for the next increase in wages of employees of state organizations. According to the document, salaries will be increased by 10%.
This decision continues the policy of gradually increasing the incomes of citizens. Earlier, in September 2024, pensions and social benefits were increased by 15%, and in October of the same year, the salary of public sector employees increased by 10-15%.
The increase will come into force in the near future and, as noted in the Ministry, is aimed at strengthening social support and improving the standard of living of the population.
