On May 21, 2025, within the framework of the events of the Organization of Turkic States, Uzbekistan launched an initiative to create a joint platform called TurkTradeas well as to hold a specialized logistics forum in Tashkent. The proposal received support from Turkey and other member states of the organization, becoming an important step towards deepening economic partnership in the Turkic space.
Platform TurkTrade It will be aimed at simplifying trade procedures, ensuring more efficient exchange of information between countries, and coordinating large-scale logistics projects. It is expected that the introduction of the unified system will speed up trade turnover, eliminate bureaucratic barriers and create favorable conditions for the development of transport corridors.
The creation of such a platform is seen as an important element of efforts to modernize logistics infrastructure, ensure sustainable regional trade and attract investment in the transport sector. It is expected that the project will give a new impetus to the development of transport links between Central Asia and Europe, strengthen the positions of participating countries in international markets and increase the competitiveness of their products.
Forming TurkTrade It will also become a platform for regular dialogue between the business communities of the Turkic countries, allowing them to exchange experience, develop joint initiatives and coordinate activities in strategically important areas.
