TASHKENT, Uzbekistan () - The United Nations (UN) International Forum on Civil Service Issues will be held in the summer of 2025. This event will be an important event not only for Uzbekistan, but also for the entire region, as it will be held for the first time in Central Asia.
The forum will be attended by representatives of more than 40 UN countries, including government officials, experts, heads of international organizations and representatives of the academic community. The agenda includes key challenges and prospects for the development of the civil service in the context of digital transformation, as well as issues of transparency, inclusiveness and improving the efficiency of public administration.
Special attention will be paid to the exchange of experience between countries, discussion of best practices in the provision of public services, introduction of innovative solutions and formation of more citizen-oriented models of public administration. Uzbekistan, which in recent years has been implementing large-scale reforms in the field of digitalization and increasing the openness of the public sector, intends to demonstrate the results achieved and establish new partnerships.
The organization of such a forum on the territory of the country demonstrates the international community's recognition of Uzbekistan's efforts to modernize the civil service system and strengthen the principles of accountability and efficiency. It is expected that the event will not only strengthen the international prestige of the republic, but also give an impetus to further reforms in the framework of state policy.
