Architectural firm ATELIER BRÜCKNER from Germany presented the concept of the national pavilion of Uzbekistan, which will be built as part of the World Exhibition Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. The main architectural image of the pavilion is inspired by the historical heritage of the Great Silk Road — it will be made in the form of a caravanserai, symbolizing hospitality, trade and cultural exchange.
The interior space of the pavilion will combine traditional architectural motifs and modern multimedia technologies. The central element will be a 360-degree panoramic exhibition that will introduce visitors to the natural wealth, history, culture, innovation and economic potential of Uzbekistan. The exhibition will be adapted to the format of immersive interaction, allowing viewers not just to observe, but to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the country.
The creators of the concept emphasize that the pavilion will become not only a visual symbol of Uzbekistan at Expo 2025, but also express the country's desire for open dialogue, sustainable development and international cooperation. Special attention will be paid to the topic of ecology and preservation of cultural heritage.
At the end of the exhibition, the pavilion will be dismantled and installed in Tashkent as a cultural and exhibition space. Its individual architectural and exhibition elements are planned to be used in regional and international presentations, which will extend the life of the project and preserve its symbolic significance as part of the national brand of Uzbekistan on the world stage.
