The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has announced the launch of a new program to support applied research in the agribusiness sector of Uzbekistan. According to the agency's press service, the main goal of the program is to stimulate innovation and sustainable development of agriculture in the country.
The program will include financing projects aimed at increasing productivity, improving the sustainability of the agricultural sector to climate change, as well as the introduction of modern technologies.
