According to the Statistics Agency, as of April 1, 2025, 15,739 enterprises and organizations with foreign capital participation were registered in Uzbekistan. Of this number, 4,031 are joint ventures, while 11,708 are wholly foreign companies operating in the republic.
The most active investors in the country's economy are companies from China and Russia, which continue to maintain their leading positions among foreign partners. The increase in the number of such enterprises was made possible by sustained economic growth, active reforms in the field of attracting investment, as well as improving the business environment.
Growing interest from foreign investors is an important indicator of Uzbekistan's openness and attractiveness to the international business community. This also confirms the effectiveness of measures taken by the Government to create a favorable and stable business environment in the country.
