During the visit of the delegation of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan to Singapore, a meeting was held with the General Director of Crimson Logic Lawrence.
The main attention was paid to the prospects of cooperation in the field of digitalization of foreign trade and customs administration. Crimson Logic is one of the world's leading companies dedicated to developing and implementing cutting-edge digital solutions in this field.
In recent years, the customs service of Uzbekistan has gone through a significant path of digital transformation, but, as emphasized at the state level, the modernization process should continue. To create a truly efficient and technologically advanced customs system requires the introduction of innovative solutions and adaptation of the best international practices.
During the talks, the parties discussed the use of generative artificial intelligence, BIG data analysis technologies and risk-based approaches in customs procedures. Special attention is paid to the improvement of already implemented digital systems, of which there are more than 30 in Uzbekistan. Crimson Logic experts conducted a detailed analysis of them and suggested possible ways to optimize them.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to attract leading specialists of the company to Uzbekistan to exchange experience. It is also planned to hold regular online consultations between IT specialists of the two countries in order to discuss and implement advanced technologies in customs administration.
The parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation and detailed elaboration of mechanisms for digital modernization of the customs system of Uzbekistan.
