The national robotics team of Uzbekistan continues to demonstrate a high level of training and engineering skills in the international arena FIRST. Recently, she has achieved significant success in the tournament Almaty TechCup 2025 – Central Asia FIRST Championshipwhich was held in Almaty (Kazakhstan) from February 21 to 23. As a result of a brilliant performance, the team won the right to represent the country at the UK FIRST Championship – one of the most prestigious world competitions in the field of robotics.
At the tournament in Kazakhstan, the Uzbek team demonstrated not only deep technical knowledge, but also a high level of team interaction, strategy and creativity in solving engineering problems. Competitions within the framework of FIRST Championship – this is not just a competition, but a large-scale educational and technological event where young engineers and programmers compete in creating and programming autonomous and controlled robots that perform complex tasks.
It is noteworthy that the national team of Uzbekistan is the only team from Central Asiaallowed to participate in the final stage UK FIRST Championshipwhich will be held in London. On the eve of the competition, the team will continue training in a specialized laboratory FIRSTcreated on the basis of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TATU).
Heads the national team Zohijon Kadyrovrepresenting the Tashkent University of Information Technologies. The team captains are Mirzhalol Teshabayev and Otabek Yusufov.
