The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan by Resolution No. 586 of September 15, 2025 approved the regulation on the procedure for forming and maintaining a unified register of gatherings of citizens of mahallas. This step is aimed at systematizing data on the activities of local governments and integrating them into the digital ecosystem of the state.
The register will become a central source of information about mahallas, ensuring transparency and up-to-date data required for interdepartmental interaction between state bodies and organizations. The Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan is responsible for maintaining the register, and the system itself operates on the Digital Mahalla platform with integration into the overall structure of e-government.
The new tool will allow you to use the collected information when creating, reorganizing, or disbanding citizens ' gatherings. The register data will be placed in the information system "Register of Reference Books and classifiers of electronic Government" and available through the interdepartmental integration platform. This approach will ensure the unification of information and increase the effectiveness of management decisions.
Until November 1, 2025, it is planned to conduct an audit of all mahallas to verify the accuracy of the submitted data. Full implementation of the unified register should be completed by December 1, 2025. In the future, this system will become an important element of digitalization of local self-government processes, strengthening the institution of mahallas and improving interaction between the state and society.
