Uzbekistan: Namangan Algorithm Center trains specialists in AI and cybersecurity

An educational ecosystem focused on training specialists in the most popular areas of the digital economy is actively developing in Namangan region. Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov visited the Algorithm Center, which is part of the IT Park, and got acquainted with the training process of future personnel in the field of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, web programming and graphic design.

The Algorithm Center annually trains more than 1,200 young people in modern programs designed to meet international standards and the requirements of the global market. There are 23 mentors who apply innovative techniques, including interactive courses, hands-on workshops, and a mentoring system. This approach allows students not only to gain knowledge, but also to develop skills that are in demand both within the country and abroad. Today, more than 300 graduates of the center have been successfully employed.

Special attention is paid to training personnel in the field of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, which are becoming key areas in the development of the global economy and digital infrastructure. During the conversation with students, the Minister noted the strategic importance of these disciplines for the future of Uzbekistan, emphasizing the need for active involvement of young people in the digital transformation processes.

Following the visit, instructions were given to expand support for educational initiatives, develop professional programs for young people and create conditions for realizing their innovative potential. The work of the Algorithm Center is an example of how regional educational projects can become the basis for the formation of a new generation of highly qualified specialists.
