Italy: Gucci introduced Shift sneakers in the style of balletcore

Italian fashion house Gucci has launched a new Shift shoe model that combines the aesthetics of ballet flats and modern solutions for everyday wear. The lightweight design and flexible silhouette reflect the trend towards the return of the balletcore style, which once again enters the center of the fashion industry and becomes a symbol of comfort, femininity and dynamics.

The women's version is made using a mesh with the GG monogram, complemented by suede elements and elastic side panels, accentuated by the brand's signature stripe. The men's line uses more dense materials, which emphasizes the practicality of the model. Visual emphasis is placed on a combination of minimalism and a recognizable corporate style, which makes Shift positioned as a universal shoe for the city.

Demonstration of the new product in the advertising campaign is based on the idea of freedom of movement and ease. Models present sneakers in dynamic and relaxed poses that reflect the brand's philosophy-adapting the luxury segment to the needs of everyday lifestyle.

The Shift's price ranges from $ 980 to $ 1,220, depending on the finish. The sneakers were first presented in Florence at the Cruise 2026 show and are already available online. They will be available in branded boutiques in the near future, which strengthens the brand's strategy of promoting collections with an emphasis on current subcultural trends.
