China: presented Volkswagen ID. 4 CROZZ 2026 with a power reserve of up to 601 km

In the automotive market of China, the premiere of the updated electric crossover Volkswagen ID.4 CROZZ 2026, created by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture, took place. The novelty is presented in three trim levels, the cost of which varies from 149.9 to 207.6 thousand yuan, which corresponds to the competitive segment of middle-class electric vehicles.

The model received a modern design with an emphasis on aerodynamics and visual manufacturability. Key exterior elements include the brand's glowing logo, an LED strip connecting the front lights, semi-concealed door handles, black wheel arches, and optional 20-inch wheels. The rear part of the body is distinguished by through LED optics and silver decorative inserts. Customers can choose from six body paint options.

The interior of ID. 4 CROZZ 2026 is focused on digitalization and comfort. The centerpiece is a media system with a 12.9-inch touchscreen, complete with a digital dashboard. The package includes a seven-speaker speaker system, as well as a Clean Air 3.0 air purification system, which emphasizes the brand's focus on environmental friendliness and concern for the health of the driver and passengers.

The technical characteristics of the model demonstrate serious progress in the field of electric mobility. Depending on the configuration, the car is equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 170 or 231 horsepower. Buyers are offered two options for traction batteries: 54.3 kWh with a power reserve of 448 km and 80.4 kWh, which provides up to 601 km of mileage on a single charge according to the Chinese CLTC cycle.

The vehicle measures 4,592 mm long, 1,852 mm wide and 1,629 mm high with a wheelbase of 2,765 mm. These parameters allow the ID. 4 CROZZ to remain in the compact crossover segment, while maintaining a spacious interior and stability on the road.

Volkswagen ID. 4 CROZZ 2026 highlights the group's strategic focus on expanding its electric vehicle range and strengthening its position in one of the world's key markets — China, where competition among electric vehicle manufacturers is becoming increasingly intense.
