From August 19 to 25, the final stage of the Orbita international space tournament was held in Moscow and Korolev. The competition was attended by schoolchildren and students from Russia, Uzbekistan, India and the United Arab Emirates.
Participants presented projects of educational satellites in the CubeSat 3U format called "IntroSat" and launched them into the stratosphere at an altitude of up to 24 kilometers. These experiments allowed young engineers to gain practical experience in the field of aerospace technologies, including the development, assembly and testing of small satellites.
The team from Uzbekistan took first place, demonstrating a high level of training and engineering competence. Winning such a tournament is of strategic importance: it not only increases the country's prestige in the international arena, but also contributes to the development of national potential in the field of space technologies.
According to experts, Uzbekistan's participation in such projects reflects the country's interest in training a new generation of engineers and researchers who can integrate into global space exploration programs in the future.
The organization of the tournament also stressed the importance of interstate cooperation in the field of education and technology. Such initiatives provide opportunities for the exchange of experience and stimulate the growth of the scientific and engineering potential of young people in the participating countries.
The victory of the Uzbek team in Orbit confirms that the country is confidently moving towards strengthening scientific and technical education and expanding participation in international space-related projects.
