Russia: T2 operator introduces new voices for virtual assistants

Russian mobile operator T2 has expanded the capabilities of its digital services by introducing an updated collection of voices for virtual assistants. Now subscribers can personalize their interaction with assistants by selecting the voices of famous actors who are familiar to users from dubbing cult films.

The collection includes three new characters. Assistant Marlon speaks in the voice of actor Vladimir Eremin, known to viewers for his role in the Russian voice-over of the film "The Godfather". Angie received the voice of actress Olga Zubkova, who voiced Angelina Jolie. Assistant Green speaks in the voice of Alexey Kolgan, who is the voice of Shrek in the popular animated franchise.

The company notes that the introduction of new voices is aimed not only at creating an entertaining effect, but also at creating a more personalized user experience. In the face of growing competition in the telecommunications market, operators pay special attention to improving customer services.

T2 virtual assistants perform not only the functions of a help system, but also provide protection for subscribers: they filter spam calls and help identify fraudulent schemes. New voices are available in the mobile app and on the company's official website.

Earlier, the operator demonstrated its willingness to experiment in marketing policy by presenting an advertising project in the style of a banking service with a product that involves charging interest on the remaining minutes and gigabytes. The rate of return was set at 28% per annum, which caused an active discussion in the professional community.
