The joint brand Huawei and Seres introduced a new electric car Aito M8 2025, which will be the flagship model of the line. The car is already available for pre-order in the price range from $ 50,000 to $ 62,500 and is aimed at the premium segment of the market.
The model is equipped with a 100 kWh battery manufactured by CATL, which provides a power reserve of up to 705 km on the CLTC cycle. Six configurations are available for buyers — from the Pure EV Max+ Long Range version with a 5-or 6-seat cabin costing $ 50,000 - $ 52,800 to the top-end Pure EV Ultra AWD modification with a six-seat layout for $ 62,500.
The design of the car is made in a modern style with a Nebula front headlight and a one-piece taillight for the entire width of the body. The crossover has an aerodynamic coefficient of 0.255 and impressive dimensions: length 5190 mm, width 1999 mm, height 1795 mm, wheelbase 3105 mm. The ground clearance is 220 mm, the depth of the ford covered is up to 700 mm.
The interior features a triple screen, refrigerator with compressor and 26 storage compartments. Huawei's intelligent driving system includes an advanced set of sensors: 192-line lidar, rear solid-state lidar, and five 4D radars.
The technical foundation is built on the new Huawei DriveONE 7-in-1 system, which is compact, has a 13% reduced weight and dual backup power. The maximum torque of the power plant reaches 4000 N·m.
The basic version is equipped with a 227 kW (304 hp) rear electric motor and provides a power reserve of 705 km. The all-wheel-drive version with a combined output of 387 kW (519 hp) has a power reserve of up to 655 km. The noise level in the cabin at a speed of 120 km/h is 60.8 dBA, which emphasizes the focus on high comfort.
