China: Motorola unveils Edge 60 Pro with natural wood back panel

Motorola has expanded its Edge 60 Pro smartphone line by introducing a new premium version called Basswood Walnut to the Chinese market. A special feature of the model is the back panel made of natural wood — the material is used in the top configuration of the device and emphasizes the combination of high technologies with eco-friendly design. This is the fourth trim option in the series after Dazzling Blue, Sparkling Grape and Shadow.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The maximum screen brightness reaches 4500 nits, which allows you to comfortably use the device even in direct sunlight. The single-chip MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme system is responsible for performance, combined with LPDDR5X RAM up to 12 GB and built-in UFS 4.0 storage up to 512 GB.

Edge 60 Pro's photographic capabilities are focused on advanced shooting scenarios. The device is equipped with a main camera based on the Sony LYTIA 700C sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel wide-angle module with macro shooting, as well as a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with triple optical and 50x digital zoom.

The smartphone is certified according to IP68 and IP69 standards, which confirms its protection from water, dust and splashes under high pressure. The device is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery and supports 90W fast charging, as well as 15W wireless charging.

Basswood Walnut's Edge 60 Pro combines technology with non-trivial design solutions focused on the premium segment. At the moment, the model is available exclusively for the Chinese market, and there is no information about international delivery. The release of this version highlights Motorola's desire to strengthen its market position with non-standard materials and a high level of functional equipment.
