Tashkent hosted the ceremony of awarding certificates to graduates of the 46th stream of the Professional Management Program (PMP-46), implemented with the support of the Uzbek-Japanese Center. The event was held on July 28 at the International Business Center and brought together representatives of government agencies, the diplomatic corps and international structures.
The PMP program, which has been operating in Uzbekistan for several years, continues to be an important tool for training specialists who can effectively manage their business in the global economy. According to the statement of the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov, the program promotes the formation of a professional management class with relevant knowledge, practical skills and strategic thinking.
Kudratov noted that PMP graduates play a key role in increasing business activity and introducing modern approaches to managing companies. Their contribution is reflected not only at the level of private businesses, but also on the scale of the entire national economy. He also stressed the importance of the Uzbek-Japanese Center as an effective platform for developing bilateral cooperation in the field of business education, exchanging experience and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives.
Head of the Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Paigamov, representatives of the Japanese diplomatic mission and international organizations addressed the participants of the ceremony with welcoming words. In their speeches, they stressed the importance of sustainable partnerships between Japan and Uzbekistan, especially in the field of education, investment and personnel training.
According to the center, the total number of PMP graduates has exceeded 2,500. In 2024, a new development strategy called "Japan Center 2.0" was implemented, which significantly increased the participation of business representatives from both countries in joint educational and investment forums.
The ceremony included the traditional awarding of graduates who showed outstanding results. The best participants were awarded honorary diplomas from the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade, the Presidential Administration and the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
The final part of the event was held in an atmosphere of appreciation: teachers, organizers and graduates expressed their gratitude. The meeting ended with a memorable group photo, symbolizing the continuity of knowledge and support for international dialogue in the field of professional education.
