France: Airbus to join pilot training in Uzbekistan

An agreement was reached in Tashkent to launch a joint program for training civil aviation pilots between Uzbekistan and the French aircraft manufacturing corporation Airbus. This agreement is part of a broader initiative to modernize the republic's air transport, which involves technical renewal of the fleet and development of human resources in the industry.

The agreement was reached during an official meeting between the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and Airbus President for Europe Johan Pelissie. In the center of the agenda is the need for accelerated modernization of the aircraft fleet, improving the level of flight safety and training professional personnel that meet modern international standards.

The Ministry stressed that the renewal of the air fleet will not only strengthen the reputation of Uzbekistan as a transit and tourist hub in Central Asia, but will also allow for an increase in the quality of passenger service. In addition, the upgraded liners will significantly increase the energy efficiency and operational reliability of transportation.

One of the key areas of the agreements reached will be a joint educational program aimed at training pilots for a new line of aircraft. The training will be based on advanced European standards, with the participation of Airbus specialists and specialized teachers of the Tashkent State University of Transport.

The program involves the creation of an educational and methodological complex focused on the operation of upgraded models of airliners. The collaboration will cover both the theoretical and practical part of the training, including the training base and certification procedures. The participation of an international partner will allow introducing the latest aviation training technologies into the educational process, including digital modeling and a remote control system for flight training.

The initiative fits logically into the strategy for the development of civil aviation in Uzbekistan and strengthening professional competencies at all levels of air transport management. Against the background of rapid growth of passenger traffic and the republic's ambitions in the field of tourism, cooperation with Airbus opens a qualitatively new stage in the development of the national aviation industry.
