Windows 11 24H2 stability
The American corporation Microsoft announced the achievement of a new level of stability in its operating system: Windows 11 24H2 is recognized as the most reliable version of Windows at the moment. The estimate is based on telemetry data collected for July 2025. According to statistics, the number of crashes and unexpected reboots in this build was 24% lower compared to the version of Windows 10 22H2, which makes it the preferred choice for everyday use, including in a corporate environment.
Increased stability is the result of large-scale interaction between engineers, UX designers, and user experience analysts within the company. Improvements were made to both architectural reliability and ease of operation in case of critical errors. In particular, Windows 11 24H2 implements a new format for the system crash screen-with a black background and advanced diagnostic information, which facilitates technical analysis and subsequent recovery.
One of the key functional innovations is the improved system rollback tool, which greatly simplifies recovery in the event of software conflicts or incorrect updates. This is especially true against the background of the growing complexity of the software infrastructure and the introduction of AI tools in custom operating system shells.
In terms of market share, Windows 11 continues to strengthen its position. According to data for June 2025, it occupies 47.98% of the user segment, almost equaling Windows 10, which holds a share of 48.76%. However, with the end of official support for Windows 10, scheduled for October 14, 2025, a further increase in migration to more modern versions of the OS is expected.
Given the high dependence of businesses and the public sector on digital infrastructure, the reliability factor becomes crucial when choosing an operating system. The Windows 11 24H2 version is positioned as a technologically mature product designed for a wide range of users-from individual customers to large organizations.
