South Korea: NX3 Games considers Uzbekistan as a regional platform for outsourcing in game development

Tashkent hosted a business meeting of representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan with a delegation of the South Korean company NX3 Games. The talks were devoted to studying the potential of Uzbekistan as a platform for outsourcing in the field of game development, as well as issues of training specialized personnel and attracting other South Korean developers to cooperate in the Uzbek market.

The South Korean delegation included Park Jin Ki, CEO of NX3 Games, and top managers of the company. Uzbekistan was represented at the meeting by IT Park CEO Abdulakhad Kuchkarov.

NX3 Games is a South Korean video game developer and publisher founded in 2017. Among the company's projects are Rohan M, Avatara, LordNine and Luna, which has received wide recognition in Korea and Taiwan. The company's latest game was a commercial success, generating more than $ 45 million in revenue in six months. Today, NX3 Games employs more than 450 specialists and has operational offices in California (USA) and Shanghai (China).

The meeting discussed the possible transfer of part of the development processes to Uzbekistan with the involvement of local specialists who will be able to participate in the creation of game projects for the company's headquarters in Seoul. Special attention was paid to creating conditions for sustainable interaction and launching educational programs for training personnel for game developers in the republic.

One of the key items on the agenda was the possibility of transferring knowledge and technological solutions, as well as creating a favorable environment for Uzbekistan to enter the international arena as a regional competence center in the field of creating games. At the same time, measures were discussed to stimulate the interest of other South Korean companies in localizing their projects in Central Asia.

IT Park Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive support to initiatives aimed at developing the digital entertainment industry, including infrastructure assistance, creating conditions for scaling business models and strengthening human resources. Such negotiations reflect the growing interest in Uzbekistan from international technology players and strengthen the country's position as a promising jurisdiction for IT investment in the region.
