Uzbekistan: Israel Medical Center expands its activities in the field of medical outsourcing

Tashkent hosted a business meeting of representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan with a delegation of the international medical company Israel Medical Center (IMC), during which they discussed plans for strategic expansion of IMC's activities in the region. The IMC delegation included Yaron Goichman, Director of the company, and Elena Goichman, Development Director. Uzbekistan was represented at the meeting by Jahongir Kagirov, Head of the IT Park Export and Services Department.

The discussion focused on the company's regional expansion, prospects for opening new IMC offices in Uzbekistan, and strengthening partnerships with local organizations. The company has indicated an interest in developing outside the capital, considering Uzbekistan as a sustainable platform for scaling operations in Central Asia and the CIS countries.

Israel Medical Center is an international organization specializing in genetic analysis, DNA interpretation and providing consulting solutions in the field of personalized medicine. The company's headquarters are located in Tel Aviv, and the Uzbek branch in Tashkent serves as a regional data processing and analytical support center for the CIS countries. The IMC team consists of about 50 specialists-doctors, bioinformatics specialists and scientific analysts.

The company is actively developing the export of medical and consulting services, providing annual revenue in the range of one million US dollars from international clients. The geography of IMC partnerships covers Japan, Armenia, Georgia, Cyprus and other Eurasian countries. In Uzbekistan, IMC sees potential for further growth, relying on human and infrastructure resources, as well as support from the state digital development ecosystem.

IT Park Uzbekistan continues to implement programs to encourage foreign investment in the knowledge processing outsourcing (KPO) segment. Cooperation with Israel Medical Center demonstrates the strengthening of Uzbekistan's role as a promising hub for medical and technological KPO services. Existing preferences, including tax incentives, technical support and access to qualified personnel, contribute to the influx of international companies focused on sustainable growth and expanding the geography of their presence.

Strengthening the positions of such participants as IMC creates prerequisites for the transformation of Uzbekistan into a center for innovative medical solutions with global integration, as well as a platform for localizing competencies in the field of genetic technologies, digital healthcare and scientific expertise.
