Uzbekistan to host international grain Conference in September

On September 17-18, 2025, the capital of Uzbekistan will host the international conference Asia Grains & Oils Conference in Tashkent. The event will become one of the key platforms for discussing topical issues of the grain and oilseed markets in Central Asia, bringing together participants from more than 20 countries.

The conference will be held at the International Hotel Tashkent and will bring together leading oilseed processors, vegetable oil producers, agricultural traders, logistics operators, engineering companies and experts in the agro-industrial sector. The event is organized by Inter Standart Consult (Uzbekistan) and Expo Time (Kazakhstan), with the support of key industry partners.

The choice of Tashkent as the venue is due to the growing role of Uzbekistan in regional agrologistics and foreign trade turnover of agricultural products. The republic retains its status as the largest importer of agricultural raw materials from Kazakhstan and actively increases purchases from other suppliers, including China, while developing its own export potential.

Significant investments in the modernization of logistics infrastructure, construction of hubs, renewal of rolling stock and optimization of customs procedures strengthen the country's position as a key link in the supply chains of grain and oilseeds.

The conference program covers a wide range of topics relevant both for the domestic market of Uzbekistan and for the countries of the region. In the focus of attention:

• assessment of the economic situation in Uzbekistan and neighboring countries in the context of global transformations;
• the role of logistics in ensuring export flows and food security in the region;
• results of the 2024/25 agricultural season and yield forecasts for 2025;
• Uzbekistan's export potential and strategic directions for its expansion;
• global and regional trends in the markets of oilseeds, meal products and vegetable oils.

Special emphasis will be placed on the development of oilseed processing, technical solutions and innovative approaches in the production of fat and oil products.

The conference has already established itself as an effective platform for sharing analytics, concluding trade agreements, and building international supply chains. More than 200 delegates are expected to attend, including representatives of export-oriented enterprises, agricultural machinery manufacturers and specialized analytical agencies.

The shift in emphasis towards technological progress, digitalization and improving logistics efficiency reflects the new priorities of the region's agro-industrial complex. Against the background of changing global conditions, expanding export geography and finding sustainable solutions are becoming strategic challenges for industry participants.
