Uzbekistan: TBC Uzbekistan became the first non-bank in the region in the global ranking of fintech industry leaders

TBC Uzbekistan's digital banking ecosystem has been ranked among the world's leading fintech companies in the category of fully digital banks. This is the first time in history that an organization from Uzbekistan and the entire Central Asian region is represented in an international rating based on objective business indicators.

The global classification, based on a wide range of metrics, includes such parameters as revenue, profitability, customer base growth, loan and deposit portfolios, transaction activity, as well as team size and market penetration. In a highly competitive environment, TBC Uzbekistan's inclusion in this list demonstrates the maturity and dynamics of the Uzbek fintech industry.

The company demonstrates steady growth, scaling the digital ecosystem both in the field of classical financial services and in related consumer segments. Over the past year, TBC Uzbekistan has launched and successfully developed key products: Salom Card debit card, Osmon Card credit card, TBC Business platform for entrepreneurs with digital lending function, as well as TBC Sug'urta insurance company.

In addition, a majority stake in BILLZ, a leading SaaS provider for retail automation, was acquired in June 2025. This transaction strengthens TBC's position in the small and medium-sized business segment and expands its strategic presence in the B2B sector.

Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Uzbekistan, noted that inclusion in the global rating is not only a recognition of the effectiveness of the corporate strategy, but also an indicator of the growing importance of the Uzbek market for international investors and technology players. According to him, the country has a high potential for digital transformation, and local companies are able to compete on a global level thanks to innovative products, technological flexibility and a fast-growing user base.
