The sixth generation of the Subaru Forester — a crossover that retains its reputation as a reliable and passable car, focused on both everyday operation and an active lifestyle-is being introduced to the US automotive market. The new model is available in two versions-Premium Edition and Ultimate Edition, both with a proprietary all-wheel drive system and an advanced complex of intelligent driver assistance EyeSight.
The basic version of the Forester 2.5 i AWD Premium Edition EyeSight is priced at $ 34,500. A more technologically advanced Ultimate Edition package costs $ 37,000. Both versions are equipped with a 2.5-liter horizontal-opposed engine with direct fuel injection. The engine develops up to 122 kilowatts of power and 252 Nm of torque, working in tandem with a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission.
The dimensions of the car are 4670 × 1830 × 1730 mm with a wheelbase of 2670 mm and a ground clearance of 220 mm, which ensures a confident landing on the highway and good off-road qualities. The exterior is designed in the Bolder brand concept - with an updated radiator grille, aggressive LED optics and expressive body lines. For the flagship version, a new body color is provided-pearl-gray River Rock.

The interior of the new Forester shows a balance between digital technology and classic ergonomics. The control center is an 11.6-inch vertical touchscreen display with integration of Apple CarPlay, Baidu CarLife and WeLink. At the same time, the manufacturer has retained the physical buttons for controlling the climate system, which increases the usability in various weather conditions.
The Ultimate Edition model features advanced options — including support for wireless charging for smartphones, improved trim materials, and additional intelligent driver assistance features.
The EyeSight system, which is standard equipment, is a set of cameras and sensors that provide traffic monitoring, collision prevention and lane keeping. The engineers focused on safety and sustainability, continuing to develop the principles embedded in the brand's DNA.
The release of the new Forester in 2025 confirms Subaru's desire to maintain its leading position in the mid-range crossover segment. The model is aimed at both traditional fans of the brand who value reliability and cross-country ability, and a new audience focused on technological efficiency, digital comfort and an increased level of security.
