Uzbekistan: Mail neural network technologies have improved the quality of email processing

The company that manages the Mail ecosystem of Mail services has carried out a large-scale update of its neural network tools. Against the background of the rapid growth in demand for intelligent functions and generative AI solutions, special attention was paid to improving the quality of work in the segment of processing long emails — one of the most resource-intensive tasks in user communication.

According to the results of the first half of 2025, the audience of Mail AI services reached 8 million users. The growth of interest was provided by tools based on generative models, first introduced in February. Among the most popular features are short retelling of emails, generating greetings, and composing texts for social networks.

The latest update focused on improving the efficiency of summation models. According to Dmitry Merkushov, Head of Machine learning, a key technological innovation was the architecture that simulates the behavior of large language models during training, which made it possible to increase accuracy without compromising the generation speed. In addition, the training dataset has been significantly expanded, which has had a positive impact on the quality of final texts.

Analytical data show that the accuracy of retelling long emails has tripled compared to previous versions of the model. Against the background of this improvement, the share of positive user responses increased by 10%. This is especially important for the B2C correspondence segment, where the density of semantic blocks is high and accurate information transfer is required.

The Mail ecosystem continues to transform towards smart solutions, integrating AI tools into the daily digital practices of millions of users. In the context of growing digitalization and increasing flow of electronic correspondence in Central Asian countries and beyond, the development of such technologies is becoming a factor of competitiveness and user loyalty.
