Uzbekistan strengthens training for BPO sector in cooperation with Berlitz

Tashkent hosted a strategic meeting between representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan and the international educational company Berlitz, aimed at building a sustainable training system for the global outsourcing market. The central topic of the talks was joint measures to introduce specialized language programs focused on the needs of international companies in the field of BPO (business process outsourcing).

The dialogue between Mahlie Muksinova, Director of Service Export Development at IT Park, and Wilson Guo, President of Berlitz Philippines, was a logical continuation of previously established business contacts at the top management level. On the agenda is the transfer of educational practices that have proven effective in Southeast Asia to the Uzbek soil.

Berlitz has extensive experience in training English-speaking professionals for the BPO industry in the Philippines, where the company cooperates with more than a hundred employers. A special feature of this approach is the dynamic adjustment of training courses to meet specific market requirements. In Uzbekistan, where there is a steady increase in interest in the export of IT services, this model can become a catalyst for the development of a competitive labor force.

The discussion included the development of flexible educational tracks of the B1–C1 level, coordinated with international companies operating in the BPO field. At the same time, the emphasis is placed not only on language training, but also on adapting soft skills necessary for working in a multicultural corporate environment.

The parties consider early involvement of potential BPO partners to be one of the key factors for the success of the project-this will allow building the "training–employment" chain without failures and delays. This approach also increases the investment attractiveness of the Uzbek labor market for global players.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to create a joint "road map" regulating the launch of pilot programs, the stages of selecting partner employers and the distribution of operational functions. The coming weeks will be devoted to working sessions aimed at agreeing on the details of the project implementation.

Systematic support for export-oriented HR initiatives continues to be one of the priorities of IT Park Uzbekistan. By forming the infrastructure of international cooperation, the organization not only contributes to the growth of the country's export potential, but also invests in its most valuable asset — human capital.
