Beeline accelerates digital development of regions

Beeline Uzbekistan demonstrates steady dynamics in the country's digital development, focusing on expanding its network infrastructure, especially in the regions. In recent years, the company has significantly upgraded its telecommunications facilities, providing wide 4G/LTE coverage and access to digital services even in the most remote settlements of the republic.

Since the beginning of the 2020s, the number of 4G base stations in the Beeline Uzbekistan network has more than tripled. Over the past year alone, the operator has installed hundreds of new LTE stations, continuing to actively modernize the existing infrastructure. This allowed us to increase the average mobile Internet speed per user by 2.2 times compared to 2020.

Special attention is paid to the growing traffic in the regions. In a number of regions, such as Ferghana, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya and Andijan, the volume of Internet consumption has increased 25-fold over the past five years. In the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the number of Beeline Uzbekistan base stations increased by more than 23 times, which provided mobile coverage to hard-to-reach areas, including Sarkop, Turan and Zhumaniyazova villages.

In parallel with the expansion of coverage, Beeline Uzbekistan is upgrading its network architecture. In recent years, the number of logical sectors in the network has increased more than sixfold, which has increased the stability of connections even during peak hours. The company is also actively implementing VoLTE and ViLTE-voice and video communication technologies in the LTE network. In 2025, one in five calls will be made via VoLTE, providing instant connectivity and HD audio quality.

The company is also successfully implementing pilot technology solutions, including the launch of Triple-Band Massive MIMO 32x32-innovative equipment that allows simultaneous use of three frequency bands and significantly increases network throughput. This standard was first implemented in Uzbekistan.

The development of the network is accompanied by the expansion of digital services. Beeline Uzbekistan users can manage finances, pay for housing and utilities, buy tickets and use public services online. New technologies are first tested in major cities, and then scaled to the entire country.

Since launching the Beeline brand in Uzbekistan in 2006, the international telecommunications group VEON has invested over US $ 1.4 billion in local infrastructure. The total amount of taxes paid exceeded $ 2 billion. The company has about 2000 employees. In 2024, Beeline Uzbekistan was awarded the "Top Employer" status, which reflects its contribution to the development of human resources in the country's ICT sector.
