In China, the official debut of the updated version of the Geely Emgrand sedan — a special series of Global 4 Million Commemorative Edition, timed to coincide with the release of the four millionth copy of the model. The manufacturer offered the car in four trim levels, priced from 68,900 to 86,900 yuan (approximately $9,600-12,100). For first-time buyers, there is a special offer: when making a deposit of 1000 yuan, the price is reduced to the range of $7,800-10,300.
The key updates were expanded body paint options-new dark blue and purple colors were added,as well as an alternative interior trim in burgundy and white. One of the main technical innovations is the upgraded multimedia system: having retained the 12.3-inch diagonal, it now runs on the improved Galaxy OS platform, which provides a higher responsiveness of the interface and advanced user interaction functions.
In terms of design and driving characteristics, the updated Emgrand remains true to the basic architecture introduced in 2021. The dimensions of the car are 4638 × 1820 × 1460 mm, with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. Under the hood is a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a capacity of 127 hp. In the basic version, the unit is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission, while in the three older trim levels a CVT is used.
