Berlitz and IT Park plan to launch language training programs for outsourcing specialists

IT Park continues to expand its international partnership in training personnel for export-oriented industries. As part of the strategic dialogue, Abdulakhad Kuchkarov, CEO of IT Park, met with Fortune Joy F., CEO of Berlitz Philippines and Berlitz Uzbek. de Lara. The negotiations were held with the participation of Mahlia Muksinova, Director for Export Development of IT Park Services, as well as representatives of both organizations.

The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen cooperation in the field of language training of specialists in demand in international companies, primarily in the business process outsourcing (BPO) sector. Special attention was paid to the implementation of the proven Berlitz methodology based on the principles of full language immersion. The company, which operates in 70 countries and has more than 145 years of experience, specializes in training personnel for the corporate and medical segments, as well as for areas with a high proportion of transnational interaction.

Berlitz presented successful cases of cooperation with international companies in the Philippine market, including training personnel for more than 100 outsourcing organizations. This experience is planned to be adapted to the needs of Uzbekistan, where the BPO sector is actively growing and requires specialists who speak foreign languages at a professional level.

Since 2022, Berlitz Uzbek has already implemented educational programs in German: about 1,000 Uzbek nurses have been trained from entry level to B2. More than half of the graduates are already employed in medical institutions in Germany. In addition, Berlitz has established a partnership with the British Council, expanding the possibilities of preparing for the international language exam IELTS.

One of the priority areas of discussion was the creation of specialized language academies in Uzbekistan, focused on the needs of the IT and BPO sectors. It is planned to launch training programs at levels B1-C1 with a focus on English, German, Japanese, Korean and Arabic. These areas reflect the structure of the global demand for specialists with linguistic and intercultural competence.

According to the management of IT Park, the partnership with Berlitz is a step towards creating an ecosystem for training highly qualified specialists who will be able to build a career at the international level without leaving the country. The platform will be part of a broader strategy to strengthen Uzbekistan's export potential in the field of smart services.

The parties agreed to continue working consultations and develop a roadmap for launching new language programs, as well as to consider mechanisms for integration into public and private educational initiatives. The potential for scaling the project is also considered taking into account the interest of international outsourcing companies in the Central Asian markets.
