Uzbekistan strengthens its position in outsourcing at ABSL 2025
Uzbekistan is strengthening its ambitions to become a new center of attraction for outsourcing services by presenting the national IT sector at one of the key international platforms — ABSL Summit 2025. The summit, which took place in Krakow and brought together over 1,500 participants, including representatives of the Fortune 500, venture funds and government delegations, became an important point of contact for global players in the field of global business services and IT outsourcing.
The speech of the delegation of the IT Park of Uzbekistan highlighted the growing role of the country as a promising destination for the relocation of outsourcing processes, especially for European, Middle Eastern and North African companies. A young, digitally literate population, competitive labor costs, and flexible government policies create a solid foundation for creating a sustainable business climate.
According to Ahmed Abulez, Advisor to the CEO of IT Park and Director of Talent Development, the synergy between technical training, infrastructure investment and state-level support makes Uzbekistan an attractive partner for Europe. He emphasized: "Speed and innovation are on our side, strategic thinking and quality requirements are on theirs."
Key results of Uzbekistan's participation in ABSL Summit 2025:
With traditional outsourcing hubs in Central and Eastern Europe facing a shortage of staff and rising costs, the industry's focus is naturally shifting to less saturated but dynamic markets. Uzbekistan is increasingly perceived as a growth point, especially given its digitalization investments, startup support programs, and strategic tax initiatives.
Participation in ABSL Summit not only strengthened Uzbekistan's international positioning, but also highlighted the country's desire to play an active role in the global transformation of value chains. IT Park intends to develop long-term partnerships, encourage the export of IT services, and promote local technology solutions to global markets.
Uzbekistan has come under the spotlight as a market capable of offering a mature alternative to traditional locations — with a focus on growth, scalability, and sustainable digital transformation.
